We love both of you Ahmudas. You have the best Lebanese food in the city, and you are smart, kind and good people too.
your loyal customers,
Diana and George Nowels
Love love love Tiger Bakery. My husband and I usually split a lunch special and some pies. It's a great way to get a bunch of taste sensations at once. You really can't go wrong with anything that you try although the fatoosh and tajeen are personal favorites of mine. We also get the fresh feta and olives for parties or just to snack on ourselves. Amazing prices on the spices and they have a good selection to choose from as well. A whole tub of cinnamon sticks for under $2.00.
I also recommend the garlic pita chips. I've never eaten inside since it is in our neighborhood, but the eating area is welcoming and nicely decorated. We have a large selection of Mediterranean type restaurants in the area but do yourself a favor and try one of the best.
When my SO and I first started dating, he'd occasionally mention Tiger Bakery back in his hometown of Toledo, OH and how totally amazing it was.
Later, we got serious enough for me to meet the folks. Yay! The drive from Atlanta sucked, but my first visit to Tiger Bakery was the sweet, sweet reward. (his parents are also pretty cool)
I've been back here a couple of times since. Each visit, my SO and I choose 6-8 different dishes, a spinach and feta pie or two, and a buttload of pita bread. We then spend the rest of our time in town scarfing it all down.
The best thing here is by far the hummus. It's so smooth and creamy and has the perfect balance of ingredients.
Other standouts include the falafal sandwich, the aforementioned pies, and the dajjaj. Oh, and the tabouli. I am obsessed with that stuff. Oh, and the baklava!
I guess what I'm trying to say is that you should just order one of everything. Enjoy!
Tiger Lebanese Bakery is a hidden treasure in the Glass City. Here are a few reasons as to why:
-Large assortment of Middle Eastern foods for dine-in or takeout.
-Great selection of grocery items.
-Inexpensive spices!
-Knowledgeable staff.
-Everything is made fresh in house.
Try the $6.99 lunch special. This is certainly a great deal. Mix and match any of Tiger's dozens of items to customize your meal. Everything I have tried has been flavorful and delicious.
With all of these amenities, WHY would you travel 1/3 of a mile down Monroe St. to eat bland Lebanese food for 3-4 times the price? Tiger Bakery is where it is at!
One of my favorite places to eat in Toledo. The food is always delicious. There are tons of options for both omnivores and vegetarians. Also, there is a certain charm coming from the workers. I don't know the story for all of them but I know at least some of them are related and it really shows through a warm and welcoming environment. Whenever I come back into town from trips elsewhere the first thing I do is have a meal at Tiger Bakery!
Love Tiger Bakery, I have been going there with my Mom for years. Delicious !!
In a town known for its wonderful Lebanese food, tiger bakery is my go to place for hummus and grape leaves. Simply the best!

An amazing restaurant with fantastic customer service. I love this place. A real gem of Toledo.
Stopped in yesterday for lunch while in Toledo. Everything is delicious and the workers are the best. Eat in or take out, I will always stop in when I'm in the neighborhood!
